Kitten pooing in hallway

16 week kitten who we’ve had for two months now stopped using her trays for pooing although still uses them for peeing.
We have 3 trays throughout the house and they are always crept clean.
But every day for the last month she has ignored the trays and poos on the carpet in one of two chosen spots.
I have been using an enzyme breaker spray with no luck at all.
If I catch her and lift her mid poo she will finish in the tray but then doesn’t try to cover it.
Any suggestions as I’m concerned that she has formed a habit now Sad

Which litter are you using?

Tray in the hallway in chosen spot. However depressing that is for you.

Maybe a change of litter if she doesn't like it?

We started with catspan but she didn’t like hat and now have wood pellets. Thing is she uses it no bother for peeing but just ignores the tray for poos🙄 I have a tray in the hall and also use training pads which she spends more time dive bombing.
I have two older cats who use an outdoor tray so hoping once she’s old enough to go out it will stop, but today my house was stinking when I got back from work as there was shit sitting all day 🤮

Try kitten litter for one tray.

Go down to one tray , don't change the cat litter. When she poops outside the litter tray keep guiding her back to her one tray

Try soil. Little buggers love my freshly mown planters.
