Colitis in Cats and Faecal Incontinence!

Hello,
I hope someone may have advice on here, or may have a cat with a similar condition.
My cat is 14 years old, she was diagnosed with colitis, she has constant problems with diarrhoea and will defecate sometimes out of the litter tray. We managed to get this problem under control with a change of diet but the cat food was discontinued and we’ve yet to find another brand which prevents the constant defecating and diarrhoea. She’s in good health otherwise, albeit on the skinnier side but had a blood test over a year ago, which came back normal.
Does anyone have any ideas which foods we could try, I’ve tried so many (including prescription brands) to no avail!

Thank you!

What food was she ok with?

My cat is younger but had constant diarrhoea and a leaky bum when I first fostered her (before adopting her).

What saved the day for me was Royal Canin Digestive Care dried food. It somehow stops the diarrhoea.

I also now supplement that with wet food but almost all wet food causes diarrhoea again, so she can't have gravy or jelly. Wet food that works for her is Encorre (almost just pure fish and chicken in brine I think) and I've also given her Natures Instinct which she also tolerated well. But both expensive options unfortunately.

But the key does seem to be mainly giving her the dry RC digestive care food.

Good luck!
