Anyone have one of these? Wondering about their nature & whether they 'need' to be indoor cats? New to cats in general...we've always had dogs!

This is a bit of a harsh response for which I make no apology.

Firstly I'm just delighted to see the trend for stupidly made-up named dog cross breeds is coming into the cat world too. Hmm

It's really importantly you should consider the question why on earth is someone crossing an unusual breed genetic accident like a Selkirk Rex with a Persian?

Secondly why you want one of these if you have no idea about their nature?

I doubt anyone will have a clue about answering your question. A quick google search shows only one litter of these available with no other reference to Perselks that I could find on the web. Perhaps the person with the litter made up the word?

What the hell is a perselk?!

A moggy with a fancy name. That’s it

I have a crossbreed. She’s a Maine coon cross British short hair but I am not calling her a British coon....she’s a moggy

Get a rescue, you can always make up a stupid breed name for it if you want to sound like you've got more money than sense.

My friend has a Persian crossed with a Selkirk Rex. She looks like a completely normal cat!

She was a rescue along with her Persian Chinchilla mother.

She has very think fur with a wave to it.

Just googled and found the litter @Grumpyoldpersonwithcats mentions. £500!!! And you'd probably end up with a normal looking cat like Zena is. (You'd never know she wasn't a moggy) lovey though she is.
