Hello! As my name suggested, we’re new to all things cat, and I feel like I’m learning fast! But today is a new one...
Lovely Luna has just strolled in through the cat flap doing her very best Adam Ant impression- by which I mean, she has a perfect stripe of white across her brow / nose (she’s normally got an all black face).
We’ve tried to wipe it off (I thought it was dust of some sort at first) and it won’t budge- and she was so livid with the attempts that she stormed out again.
She’s just come back again, and frankly, I think it’s paint. There’ll be one annoyed neighbour somewhere with hairy paintwork, I’m guessing...
Any tips for a serious newby- do you attempt to grapple them and try to soap it off? She will not thank us in any way (I have the scars of our first attempt). It’s on her nose, which bothers me a bit I think.
In seriousness, any advise very gratefully received. In the six months we’ve had this lovely lady, we’ve had two vets visits thanks to her exploits; I have the feeling with might have got ourselves an accident prone one (or is this just cats / do I need to toughen up / relax?!!!)
Thanks in advance!
