Cat?

Hi, I’m in the VERY early stages of thinking about a pet cat. I’d want to let it outside, but where we live has the occasional mink. Would a cat have the sense to stay away from a mink? Does the presence of mink rule out getting a cat?

Maybe you could get two very big cats? Like Maine Coons? From the same litter, so they'll protect their territory together. And not let them out until fully grown.
