I was going to post a photo of my new Dcat but she has gone under the sofa and won't come out.
I think the house still smells of buns.

What colour is she? Where did you get her from? Why does the house smell of buns?

Is Buns your old cat? I'm getting a new kitten in a few weeks time and I'm going to thoroughly deep clean every nook and cranny to get rid of my old cat's scent (bless him), but realistically it will still be around.

I think all new cats hide for a while, it'll come out when it's safe.

Haha yes Buns was my dear departed 19 year old. New cat has decided to stop hiding behind the sofa and come out. She's very timid but very cuddly. She's now in her proper ace on my bed.

Where do you get kittens from? Looking for breeders north London and Hertfordshire

Shes a tabby, name is Isis, nickname Tabs. Shes 11 years old. Shes a friends cat but wants to be the only cat. There were three others in her last house and it was too much for her.

Isis is a great name!

I think Tabs is possibly a better name than Isis! Eek.

She looks absolutely lovely OP. Hope she is settling.

Not obvious from photos but she has small patches of tabby amongst the black and white patches but definitely tabby bits. Shes gone from super timid overnight to exploring the house, rolling around and throwing toys around. Clearly so much happier as the only cat. Needs a dental though asap.
