This warms my heart so much: my big always-hungry cat was so excited about his breakfast that he was purring all the time I was plating it up for him, then carried on purring while tucking in. Never fails to make me smile.

it's a heartwarming sound.

I'm not sure, scientifically, how he's able to do it without choking, but it's a beautiful thing!

My friends cat sits and gazes up at him when she wants feeding. It's adorable, wish my two looked at me like that!

Its adorable! We have taught Leo to sit at mealtimes (years of having dogs at my mums) and at meal times he goes to where his food is served and just sits there waiting. That is until we are 30 seconds too late in bringing it in, then he comes and mithers us in the kitchen :D

Cats purring while eating is lovely.

@Toddlerteaplease It was quite easy to be fair. We started using small pieces of chicken and rewarding him when we said "sit" before giving him the treats, then exchanged the treats for food and he just learnt :)

Cats are so sweet, I love the little half miaow, half purr my cat makes when she sees me or in play, like a little alien noise
