What breed is my new cat?

The vet really isn't sure; she is not quite siamese looking - her face isn't pointy enough. And possibly her legs aren't long enough.....

Tonkinese has been suggested or a siamese cross

Any thoughts?

Some Burmese have much more of a 'block colour'. Brown, blue and lilac all look block coloured. If your 'grey' cat is Burmese she'd be called 'blue'.

Other colours are 'pointed' like Siamese - that is, they have a darker head, tail and paws, and a paler body. The red and the chocolate look 'pointed'.

I currently have two chocolate Burmese and most people assume they are Siamese, because that is the only type of cat they can think of with that colouring.
