Kitten outside unsupervised

My kitten is about 8 months old, chipped and spayed as well as full vaccinations.

I've just started letting her out gradually and supervised the last two weeks. She is obsessed with climbing trees and trying to find way into neighbours gardens.

She had a collar but it came off in a tree and I worry with one she may strangle herself.

What age or signs would you usually leave your kitten out unsupervised and for how long? She knows her name and will come back when called if she feels like it. I don't let her out at night.

Thanks :)

@EachandEveryone well when I say busy road, it's not a main road or anything just a residential street but we aren't a cul de sac or anything which is why I still haven't let her out or decided if I will.

I have a 6 month old kitten & she’s tiny for her age, I was going to keep her as an indoor cat, but I started letting her out on a lead & now she wants to go out more ,my only concern is there are 2 big older cats that keep coming in my garden & sitting on the garage watching her!! I’m so worried now about letting her out on her own, they would probably hurt her ☹️She’s my baby , I don’t know what to do for the best .
