Cat with allergies

So our cat has been diagnosed with allergies to several different types of grass and dust mites (so now we’re constantly hoovering the living daylights out of everything!) We started her on the allergy vaccine injections and she’s now on the maximum dose every 4 weeks. This last few days her symptoms have returned - scabby face and ears with some fur loss - so on the vets advice we’ve upped her steroid tablet.

Today her eye looks scabby (last time this happened she had an infection) and she seems to have eaten nothing since last night. I’ve given her a dose of the eye drops we have from the last infection, and I’m preparing myself to give her steroid tablet by the old wrap in towel and shove it in method since hiding it in her food isn’t going to work!

Has anyone else got experience with this? I’m ringing the vet tomorrow morning and keeping the cat in. She has used the litter tray this morning and is now asleep.
