How often do you change clumping litter?

Just that really!
I remove the clumps if wee each morning, and poo as soon as I realise.
How often should I change everything?
It doesn’t smell at all so weekly seems a bit much.

I’ve never used clumping before but our rescue cat was used to it so tried it and now I’m a convert.
It’s a biodegradable one so not the cheapest so would rather stretch it out if possible.

I suspect I'll be in a minority here but...

We have a deep tray. I scoop twice a day. The tray area does not smell except when one of the cats has just been in it.
I see no reason to regularly completely empty the tray - so I don't.

We don't change it either. Doesn't smell so we clear the tray daily and that's it.

I don't unless any wee or poo has touched the tray itself, even then I might spot clean rather than a total clear out. Rare occurrence, my cats seem to have a decent aim!

I have several large and deep trays for my 2 cats, all with clumping litter kept at a pretty deep depth. Topped up every couple of days. Clumps and/or poop are removed usually within a max of an hour of it being there (wfh and check regularly) Any litter that wee touches will clump, so the surrounding litter doesn't get 'dirty'

Ok, that’s reassuring!
I think I’ll change it monthly.
It’s such good stuff nothing touches the tray, and the only time it smells is after she’s done a poo.

Scoop daily. Full change monthly.

I used to do a complete change ever bin collection day so every fortnight

This week is the first I haven't and instructions on YouTube say it can be left quite a while

We're using Cats Best and to be honest he doesn't use it much

We use CatsBest , I am always fascinated how the pee clumps into a neat little sphere .

I top up as needed but keep some of the 'old' litter (not dirty but stuff they've raked about in) so it has their scent .

Nice deep litter , if they feel kind they bury it .

I do a complete clean about once a month I think - we have four litter trays in use though for four cats. They get scooped at least twice a day and topped up with clean litter. We use Cats Best and Catsan Natural in the different trays.
