Hungry, greedy or CFs?

From looking at the back of the cat food packs our kits should be moving to eating less food now they are verging on 7 months. But they both seem starving about 2 hours after breakfast and most of the afternoon. They have been having 3 meals, so I think we may keep this up (not sure when we should be moving to 2 meals) even if it's a bit less total food. The boy is much bigger than the girl and scoffs his food then dives into hers, like we have been starving him. Then an hour or two later they both act like no one has fed them. Is this just chancing their arms/paws or are some cats just hungrier than others? Should we feed the bigger one more or is he bigger because he steals from his sister??? Advice appreciated! Thanks

What are you feeding them?
I have three cats and two are large breeds but are fed high protein kibble available all the time plus treat pouches a couple of times a day . Cats like to feed little but often.

I fed on demand until our was a year old and the hunger decreased.

My 2 girls are 8 months. When I mentioned on this board I was trying to get them to two meals a day most people said I was wrong to do that. We give them 1 pouch felix kitten I'm the morning. I scoop dry food when they finish it....or about 10am. The another pouch of meat about 2pm....depending on if it's eaten they then get.more dry food.

This week they are spending hours outside chasing insects....but eating less food - so maybe only 1 scoop of dry (Although one cat got me up lat night at 1am to give her more!). I'm also wondering wondering if they have found a food source in another garden....I hope not.

We don't really separate the food between the cats...they have a bowl with two sections so I was.giving half each, but now I sometimes jist put things in one bowl....e.g. if there I still a little meat left in that bowl I will add a small round bowl with the dried food....they seem happy to share. The cat that was more greedy and larger seems less so now.

Thanks @Slub and @Fluffycloudland77
Between them they have 1 tin of kitten chicken from Thrive, plus a bit of dry kitten royal canin for breakfast, then a royal canin wet pouch between them for lunch, then dry royal canin for dinner, then a little top up of dry nearish our bedtime. And a few snacks in between! We are using the amount of wet/dry that's recommend on the back of the royal canin pack. They never used to finish it all so there used to be dry available for most of the day just because they had left some. But now they almost always scoff the lot right away. Maybe we need to leave out dry in between times then.... Just don't want greedy Fred eating it all and leaving none for tiny Audrey!!

Thanks @Mumdiva99
I hope the little one catches up with the big one, he's huge, going to be a panther if he keeps growing!
Oh and they are moggies - tabby and tortoise shell - definitely no pure breed!!
