Paws reappeared to stare at the fridge and I realised he was after the wafer thin chicken Ollie had told him about gave him some and he went off happily

My three are being really needy at the moment. Think it’s because the kids are back at school and college so the house is quiet during the day.

Went tubed early last night because I have work today. Gomez was wailing outside my door so i brought her in with me. I’ve just got up and found Morticia on my bed as well as Gomez under the duvet 😱 taken them both down because poor Wednesday was wailing because she’d been alone all night 😱

Morticia doesn’t want cuddles normally but she’s taken to hiding under my bed then coming out when I’m asleep

Matt was so funny last night. Dog was asleep on sofa and Matt stood on his back legs and peered very intently right in her face and sniffed at her. I suspect he doesn't hate her half as much as he pretends to.
The dog sniffed Socks the other day. Socks tends to give her a wide berth but just sat completely still, although I could tell from her expression she didn't entirely enjoy the experience!

Was out with Leroy yesterday longer than normal 'cause, well, sunshine. Within a minute of my tummy rumbling (it was past lunchtime) he presented me with a fresh kill. In a "There you go Mum. Lunch." kinda way.

Leroy's walks are mostly me standing around like a stuffed lemon while he mooches about in undergrowth so his technique is pretty much the same as any other cat. Unfortunately (for the mouse) yesterday I was reading a thread on here (the one about "Empaths") and wasn't paying enough attention to yell "No! Leave it!"

That'll teach me.

We used to walk our cats 30+ years ago, it seems it hasn’t changed much.

I have a little daydream in my head where we go out and walk a defined route while Leroy trots along merrily at heel, stopping briefly to sniff a hedge or something...
