Sympathies for your bank account, QueenPaw. What you save on the Lidl Dreamies will be vastly outweighed by the expense of the raw food!

Aldi’s a strange one for the MC, it’s cheap but has Pumpernickel bread & infused olive oil 🤨 & rip-off Sipsmith gin. I tried Asbo on Waitrose cat food once, he wasn’t having any of it. Literally.

I am waiting for dh to come around to the idea that no cats living here until the gardens cat proof. He’s getting there. We hate the neighbours otherwise I’d go halves on a new fence with them & catproof that but I think I’ve found a solution.

His suggestions of “it doesn’t have to be a Bengal” & “we could get a moggy” have been vetoed. I can’t exorcise my “didn’t look after Bengal well enough & lost him earlier than the others” demons without a Bengal. I don’t think men have a guilt chromosome.

@Fluffycloudland77 it's really hard to tell because I put it down, he eats some, then paws eats the leftovers. So it's split between two cats
I would say he's eating less raw than pouches though. My friend has also swapped her cat onto rudyraw, he wouldn't eat any wet food and is quite elderly. Now he's standing at the fridge yelling for more raw and she said his coat seems a lot better already

For the love of God Fluffy, asbo was better looked after than any cat ever.

What is this solution?

I'm sorry but couldn't stop myself from laughing about Paws and the new NMC, QueenPaw. I expect he tells all the cats about the great servant he has found.

The solution, that he won’t instantly go for & I'll have to wait for him to come around to is a chain link fence so I can attach the rollers to it but not enable ndn (who we hate because they said Asbo put their cat in hospital & Asbo was a good boy) to use it as a boundary and take their tatty fence down. Then we need a concrete fence at the bottom because that’s our fence & it will deaden the sound from next doors kids.

Leaving aside the 'recollections may vary' issue with NDN's cat's hospital admission, that sounds brilliant Fluffy, esp with kid-cancelling bonus.

@QueenPaw Ollie looks so fluffy in the garden photo! I had to double check it was you posting.

Dara is a complete Diva, but she's very nervy. She overgrooms so has bald patches all over her legs and tummy.
She's not very impressed at the moment due to next door having building work done 😀

Ollie is an over groomer of his belly too!

Daras fur looks like velvet, has she got some British shorthair in her?.

Or metal railings would work, but they’d need to be narrow because cats are liquid & Bengal kittens are like Gremlins you’ve fed a 4 course menu too after midnight and thrown a bucket of water over.

Metal chic, but you could paint concrete as a feature - trendy round these parts. I did my barrier sky blue which looks good with greenery and grey skies. Matches Capns fur obv.
