Which kitten food

I’ve got a 6 month old kitten and am confused about what’s the best food to give him. I know whiskers etc aren’t supposed to be the best as they don’t have enough protein in, but I’ve just spent ages comparing the protein levels with whiskers, felix, supermarket food and then the more expensive foods at petsathome. They all seem to be between 7-11% protein which seems v little. Even the expensive ones at petsathome are the same. Those ones say on the packet they they are 40% chicken derivatives for example, but then only 11% protein. I’m confused and don’t know which to get!

You must be looking at wet food then?
Whatever you choose you would look for high meat content and ideally no grains as cats are carnivores and can't digest them properly.

Mine had grain free dry food and then any wet food they would eat (fussy with wet, not so fussy with dry). They are still the same age 4!

Yes I meant to say wet food sorry. He is having some biscuits also but he definitely prefers the wet food.
So do you think that the quality of the dry food is more important then?

Mine eat more dry food than wet food so that's why I make sure the dry food is a decent one.

You can buy ready made raw feeds, the proteins much higher then.
