Cats not getting on.

Hi everyone I have taken on a stray cat that’s very loving with me but won’t tolerate another cat. I have already my older cat which I have had for the last 7 years. My old cat is fearful and the new cat is aggressive I have tried everything even having 7 litter trays through your the house. 5 separate feeding stations. Lots of love and attention. The best medical care food and I am at my wits end keeping them separated 24/7. I have poor health and it’s exhausting does anyone have any suggestions so that my old cat is not being attacked and living in fear and that my new cat can just calm down. I have tried felliway in every room they are both neutered they are hissing and going for one another. I am covered in scratches and am exhausted it’s now effecting my health. Any suggestions that may calm them both down as separately they are beautiful loving cats but together or just the site of each other and it’s world war three. Thank you.

How did you introduce stray into the household?.

I had this situation up until last year when the perpetrator was PTS due to ill health. She was a stray I took in, but she didn't like one of my other cats, so I had to keep them separate in the house, which was manageable, but ridiculous at the same time. I tried several times to introduce them according to cat etiquette, but it didn't work. She had to be kept in the kitchen, where there was access to the cat flap, as fortunately, my other cat that she hated, is mostly a house cat. This lasted for nearly 4 years. Is there any chance someone could give your stray a home, so that you can live in peace with your cat? Have you watched any Jackson Galaxy videos on YouTube?
