Since i've found out i'm pregnant, Leo will not leave me alone.

His current favourite thing to do is to lie on my stomach in a morning when I am desperate for a wee and need to get dressed for work. It doesn't help that I lie on the sofa to watch TV for an hour before I have to move.

He went to the groomers yesterday and he had to be taken right down as he was becoming unmanageable and I think that's another reason why he is clingy.

But here is a picture of him begging me not to move this morning. I feel like such a bad cat slave as I had to move for the fear of wetting myself!

Cats can become extra clingy during pregnancy. Is your (beautiful) cat a rexed breed? (the crimped looking fur)

Aw bless him. Maybe he will settle down once he gets used to you being pregnant? I don’t know.

@GeidiPrimes He's a long haired persian. He's usually a lot fluffier than that, but his coat was so matted even though we brush him religiously. The groomer had to take him down so much, it's a shame but its better than him being matted and stressed.

He looked rather like my little devon rex in the first one - I guess that's because his undercoat's showing. Persians are so chill.

I think he's telling you he's lonely and needs a girlfriend. He needs to come live with me and my girls. I can cope with one very clingy cat so two will be no trouble. 😂😂

I have a very good groomer and am well used to managing their coats.

Im trying to get him a girlfriend but my husband says no. Maybe after baby comes but that's not until June Confused

I think he would love to come to yours for play days Toddler, they would all get on like a house on fire!

Yes. I think they would. He's a Persian. A normal cat I wouldn't risk!

He's been the complete opposite this morning. Clinging onto my little brother rather than me... he's such an arse haha :)

I am actually, it's been lovely having him want to be on my knee...

My brother goes home tonight until Sunday so Leo will be back to me in the meantime :D

I'm 5 months pregnant now. He started being clingier than normal at around 3 months.

He still abandons me for my brother whenever he comes downstairs though Smile
