A very close friend of mine has very recently lost his beloved bonded boy, and though he can never be replaced as such he is looking to fill a rather large cat shaped hole in his life.
However, he has rather specific requirements! Must be male. Must NOT be grey tabby or anything close (dear departed was this) or black (memories of another much loved cat), ideally ginger tabby/ginger & white but will consider anything not like I've detailed above. Must be able to live with other animals as he has another cat (small gentle female) and a small quiet dog, and ideally under about 12-18 months as he feels a young cat or kitten will allow the remaining cat to keep her position & status in the home. Wants at least 10 weeks old, preferably a little more if possible but open to suggestions.
On the plus side he lives alone in a quiet town, no main roads nearby, and is home based so in the house most of the time. He's had cats all his life. He needs something with a lot of character, and would prefer to not have a breed where he would worry about the cat being stolen! Garden isn't cat proof-able.
A big ask I know, but if any of you lot know of anything similar or can keep your eyes open, we'd appreciate it. He lives in Norfolk, though will travel if necessary.
