We used to have one of those fires- the cat got too close once and singed all his whiskers- the suprised look on his face with burnt black curly stubble sticking out was way funnier than it should have been

Black & white boy has the shortest legs in the house, a full inch shorter than the other cats. We had to ensure the catflap was lower down to take his stumpiness into account. He's not a Persian, just a fluffy eejit!

There is just something really funny about the way the hold their legs.
