Kitten attacks feet

My new kitten attacks feet, I guess toes look like little pink mice but we need it to stop. I walk around in bare feet at home and don't want to have to wear socks.
I've started splashing him with water, this makes him run away but he's immediately back to attack again.

I don't want it to be a game for him, he came from a busy house with lots of children so it's possible that he got a positive reaction from doing it before we adopted him

It’s normal kitten play, he needs masses of play at this age.

Splashing him with water is just wrong.

He’ll definitely grow out of it but kittens just do that as well as lots of other annoying things! He’s only a baby. Wear socks for a few months.

That’s completely normal kitten behaviour- have you had a cat before? How much play time/interaction is he getting?

Don’t splash him with water that’s just cruel & not teaching him anything

Take something with you for them to chase instead e.g. toy on a stick, ribbon, etc

Yes it's horrible putting water on him for that

Trail a fishing rod toy around behind you and he should play with that instead

I'd be worried if I had a Kitten that Didn't pounce on toes and feet.

I have 2 kittens - get slippers!
They climb up me when I’m getting my food too & use a clothes airer like it’s a game swinging through my washing, climb up my curtains they are full of mischief. Don’t chuck water on your boy cats just love feet. Put socks or slippers on. Enjoy the antics they grow up super fast, my girls look massive now

I’ve never understood people who walk around in bare feet in the middle of winter. Shudder.
