Cat hasn’t come home

Our cat didn’t come back tonight, only the second time she’s been out since she’s been spayed. I’ve left various things outside to help her find her way home but nothing yet. It has been raining though, so perhaps she’s sheltering from the rain? We were out shouting for her and shaking the dreamies for hours earlier (I can’t sleep and just been outside again looking for her).

I’ve got a very worried 8 and 5 year old (and me!!). Please tell me your positive stories...we aren’t very experienced cat slaves!

Ah our cat did this to us a couple of times in the first few months. Once she’d got locked in a building site (unlocked the next morning). The other I think she’d found some friendly neighbours.

Chances are your cat will be back safely tomorrow sometime. Fingers crossed for you. Do keep going out and calling her and rattling snacks every so often in case she’s got disoriented.

She’s just strolled in!!! Gosh these cats do keep you on your toes!! I may get some sleep now!

Ah great 😊

For her safety make it a rule that she’s in at dark and give her a good play session to tire her out.

If you rotate her toys they don’t get bored of them.
