Poorly boy

Our 2 year old boy was sick on Thursday evening and has only eaten a few mouthfuls of food since then (about an hour ago).

He’s been asleep on the bed pretty much since Thursday evening, went out briefly yesterday, I assume to relieve himself. Difficult to be sure if he’s had a wee since then as we have another cat and two litter trays.

He probably hasn’t had a drink since Thursday and is very quiet compared to his usual self.

Other than sleeping on my legs most nights, he’s not an overtly affectionate cat, doesn’t like fuss, so it’s difficult to tell how bad he feels.

If there’s no improvement tomorrow I think a visit to vet is needed. Any advice please?

Keep him in, warm and take him in tomorrow. Hopefully it’s something simple like an infection.

If it was me I'd take him to the vet ASAP.

A cat not eating much or drinking needs to go to the vet. I'd take him asap.

Yes I would take him to the emergency vet as well.

Thanks for the replies.

In true feline fashion he made a dramatic recovery this morning, zooming around and back to his usual irritating self. Still not eating as much as he normally would but has had a couple of sachets.
