Wet dirty kittens

My kittens love going in the garden. They love exploring. Their favourite place is the dirty, wet, muddy ditch at the bottom of the garden. Now it's wet they come back with yucky paws. They run in the kitchen, jump on the table - dirty muddy paws everywhere. I try to keep them im the kitchen till they've groomed but sometimes they escape.

When we had a dog we used to wipe/wash their paws after a walk. What do you do with your cats? I've tried wet kitchen towel and they don't like it.

Picture of them being cute the other night.

Wet cloth?

I stick my old girl in the sink and wash her paws in shallow water. She always comes in filthy then dry them off with a towel.

I keep an old towel near the door they come in. We don't have a flap so it's easier for me as I'm there ready on wet/muddy days!

A wet e cloth gets them clean. They don’t like it though.

Thanks. I just have to persevere with wriggly cats until they are used to it.

You could put a puppy training pad with a few squirts of warm water on just inside of door/flap. When they run over it coming in the worst of mud will come off.
