Cat Christmas fatigue

My poor boy. Christmas has really taken it out of him. First we change everything and put up the big green tree in the corner, then we take it down again. Meanwhile he's had presents to open, toys to play with and turkey to eat. After licking the turkey platter clean, he's had us all at home to provide fusses and door opening whenever required. It's been too much for the poor lamb!
Anyone else's cat work out after their exhausting Christmas?😁

Aww! Look at the poor little puss cat, he can come and live with me and my cat gang. He can eat all the ham scraps and get the best fleece blanket in the house. I might even let him sleep on top of the radiator as he's do hard done by. Grin

Bless him, poor sausage. The dramatic paw over his eyes, as if he can’t bear the cold light of day. He’s gorgeous!

Cat found collapsed in middle of hallway due to exhaustion

Leroy still has annoying amounts of energy. At night 🙄.

Your boy looks gorgeous, like my darling departed Harley.

Toddlerteaplease · 02/01/2021 00:35

Snorg is also exhausted!

Whereas mine are still clearly partying all night after I've gone to sleep. Came down this morning to find the Sky remote in pieces after being knocked flying (again), cushions in disarray, broken hooks on the curtain so it's all baggy at the top, and the slightly less favoured of their sheepskins on the floor rather than the back of the sofa.

At 6 years old, you would have thought they were getting past the mad kitten stage, but they seem to be growing into it instead!

Cheddar is so tired she's snoozing on her heat mat.

Oh all these poor kitties. Will no one think of the cats?! Surely they deserve some post Christmas treats to make up for their troubled times...

Here's Maxi looking forlornly out the window as he's far too fatigued to venture into the cold brutal world 😁

More to the point - he's warming his butt on the radiator 😁.

Toddlerteaplease · 02/01/2021 18:53

@HugoTheKitten is Hugo a Persian? He's gorgeous.

HugoTheKitten · 02/01/2021 21:50

@toddlerteaplease thank you. Yes he's a 15 week old Persian.

Toddlerteaplease · 03/01/2021 08:33

Hugo, make sure you post lots of pictures. There are only 3 Persian regulars on here. (Cheddar, Snorg/ magic and Leo) So they feel under represented!

HugoTheKitten · 03/01/2021 10:45

It’s hard not to take pics of him he’s such a sweetie and so affectionate.....especially in the morning when he greets me, it’s adorable.

Your cats are beautiful as are all the cats too (I could look at cat photos all day).
