Cats keeps tipping fountain!

So for a long time now, maybe since one of my kittens was strong enough, he started playing with and tipping over the entire pet fountain. All the water goes everywhere flooding my carpet.

Just so tired of it now. Does anyone know any fountains that don't tip over? Or aren't easy to tip over. The one they currently use the flower pet fountain. He pushes the top flower bit until it spills over

Thanks.

Take it away completely? They don't need a fountain.

I've got a umitvaz one from Amazon. I can't see how they could possibly tip it over.

Anything that encourages cats to drink is a good thing. My two love their fountain.

They need encouragement to drink? The amount of cats I've watched drink out of containers and puddles. I think they're conning you a bit Grin

A fresh dish down every day, then no spilling.

We have a Petsafe Drinkwell ceramic fountain with a wide base, on a dinner plate. it'd be pretty difficult to tip over. My cat won't drink out of a bowl and I didn't want her drinking out of the kitchen tap, she likes the fountain though (as long as it's well away from her food). I got mine as an Amazon return so it was a bit cheaper than it would have been otherwise, and I figured getting her something she enjoys drinking from would be cheaper/less stressful than the potential vet bills.

Mine has the Cat Mate water fountain.

It's quite heavy and has a wide base. I'd be surprised if any cat could tip it over.

Yes the Petsafe Drinkwell fountain is solid and heavy, they won’t be able to tip that one. They drink more from a fountain so I wouldn’t do away with it completely.

Thanks everyone. Both my cats love their fountain. A bowl is tipped over in 5 minutes because one of them loves playing with water.

I will check out the ones mentioned.
