My new blankets have been stolen!

Bought a lovely cosy velvety scrumptious blanket, he's played finders keepers so now I've had to fold it nicely and pop it under the radiator for his nibs where he's snoring his head off, great they can share that one it's big enough.

Come back to my chair and discovered the other 'thief' has commandeered my other one!

Nothing is sacred, she's even sworn at me for daring to touch the blanket.

All cats do this don't they? How stupid was I to get nice blankets!

Surely you know mrs that the mistake you made was buying a cosy blanket for yourself? If you had bought them for your feline friends they would have turned their noses up at thenGrin

Absolutely right! I had totally forgotten. They go by the motto 'what's yours is mine and what's mine is mine'

And you know that if you decide to buy a third one to be for you, they'll pinch that one too. The best you can hope for is an occassional share. 😂

Are you new to cat servitude? I only ask, as that's a rooky mistake you made thereGrin

Lovely cats. Are they related to each other?

11 years, maybe I am still a rookie in their eyes, they like my mistakes clearly! Brother and sister rescues. Our first feline family members and they are so bloody adored!

Well, we have four blankets in the livingroom, two cats. By all accounts that should provide us with two usable blankets, but no.

One blanket folded is not soft enough, so two on top of each other with one cat on it. One blanket in a basket for the other cat, but if you use the forth blanket that's more interesting and dcat will alter between blanket and basket. You really cannot win 😂🤪.

Closetbeanmuncher · 28/12/2020 22:25

I've just lost another one to this naked critter. Apparently the red one just won't do 😂

Why not try putting the blanket on your knee. You get it back and cat sits on your knee. Win win.

Fluffycloudland77 · 29/12/2020 16:25

The only way to keep a blanket is to buy the cat a nicer one but you end up with a cheap fleece with bobbles after the first wash while the cat has the cashmere one which they accept with an air of “I suppose it’ll do for the time being”.

TodgerStrunk · 29/12/2020 16:46

Why not buy the cats a blanket?
At least that way you've got a chance when they reject it, to claim it as yours.

WirKindervomBahnhofZoo · 29/12/2020 17:34

Ed has just claimed this one!

Well I've just claimed the girls heat pad. Grin

Fluffycloudland77 · 29/12/2020 22:19

I do not fancy your chances of keeping hold of it though.

MrsKingfisher · 30/12/2020 07:30

Tried the blanket over my knee, I got a look of distain, but she did agree to share...for now.
