Hes an old cat bless him. At first he was pulling out fluff from his bum, we saw flea dirt and gave him some fle medication (Bravecto) and treated the house (Indorex).
After a few weeks he's started to get scabs around his neck, and a little bit behind his ears too, and on his shoulder blades. He's been to the vets this week, who said it was ear mites (which he has had on and off for years). She said they're around his ears and travel.
She gave him antibiotics (for his bladder, we need to investigate for kidney troubles) and also some steroids for the itch. Suralan for the mites.
He's clearly out of sorts. I just want to make sure the vets are right? Like I said, not his first bout of ear mites but first time hes being so upset.
