Do I need to take the vet?

Our cat came home this morning with a cut on one of her pads. I washed it with warm water and have kept her in for the rest of the day. It has started bleeding again as she has been cleaning it. She is not limping but she won't let me touch it. Does it need a vet? I have attached a picture. Thank you.

Probably. They are demons for hiding pain till it’s serious.

I would if it has started bleeding again. It might be deep. My daft cat cut himself smashing a photo frame during the night. Looked like nothing much but I tookhimas he was a senior gent and it needed staples.

Yes, the risk for infection or stepping on something that aggravates it is bigger when on the pad. Can you turn her paw to get a better look re. how deep? Talk to the vet, they might think it's okay to wait till tomorrow.

Yes, vet. My first cat did similar - it required a stitch and an antibiotic jab.
