Cat has a torn rear claw. Looks like there's new growth coming in underneath and it looks clean and healthy, if very pink where it's all new. Doesn't seem to be bothering him and looks like it's been there a while but I've only just noticed (he's 13 and spends all day curled up asleep).
My gut says to leave it and let it all grow out and fall off as long as he's otherwise fine and there's no sign of infection.
Is there anything I should be worried about and watching out for?
