Cat Eye Problem

Hello - my lovely little tabby has a translucent light brown patch on her eye. I only noticed it last night (although she did have an eye problem one Sunday afternoon a couple of weeks ago, which seemed to clear up after 24 hours).

She is eating, sleeping, toileting normally and, other than not being keen to go outside (but it is very cold where we are!) and having a slightly fractious relationship with her sister cat at the moment she seems completely fine in herself.

Vet's appointment made for Friday (first one they had) but I just wondered if anyone had any advice or ideas about what might be wrong with her?

Eye problems are definitely one for the vets so you're already doing everything you can by making an appointment. I think older cats may get glaucoma, so that could be a possibility, but it's probably best not to speculate too much and just see what the vet says. And give her lots of cuddles in the meantime (or extra dreamies, depending on preference!).
