Hi,
My cat broke four of her toes two weeks ago and she had surgery to pin them in place. The surgeon couldn't pin one of the bones as it was too small but she said it didn't matter and that she only needs two to be able to walk fine.
She's being crate rested and I'm happy with her recovery except her foot now looks like it's at a strange angle. I showed the vet at her check up and again she said not to worry and it was probably just the way she's holding it and that it's healing nicely.
But she must be holding it like that all the time and she won't put it in the floor she's just hopping when she's getting around. And when she does put it on the ground it's like she's not putting the right bit of her foot down.
I don't want to pester the vet and
I'm aware that it's only been two weeks but I'm not sure what to be expecting at this point recovery wise.
Anyone been through this?
