Do you think the end is near?

My lovely needy lap cat is 14 and has started acting strangely over the last few weeks. She's eating well, bright eyes and glossy coat, doesn't seem to be in any pain. Wanting lots of strokes and fuss.

BUT

She's started randomly standing in the corner of the room and howling. Sleeping stood up leaning against the wall and has twice pooped in the bath this week (she usually goes outside).

I can't help thinking this is it 😢

You’ll have to go to the vets with her, she’s doesn’t sound right at all but it might not be the end.

This is definitely a vet job. It doesn't necessarily indicate the end but it's definitely something that requires attention.

Yes I'll make an appointment on Monday.

Fingers crossed it's something and nothing.
