Poorly boy at home

Long term poster but constant name changer here (MIL on the main boards).

I've got a poorly boy at home at the moment, he's no stranger to illnesses/injuries unfortunately, he's an adopted rescue that's been in and out of rescues and seems particularly incident prone. We love him massively.

However, he's had a further injury recently (hunting related, and yes he's neutered) and I find myself helicoptering and watching out for every sign of illness. When I was working in the office I was distracted all day, but now I'm ft wfh I find myself hyper-worrying. Is he in pain? Is he walking more stiffly than yesterday.

Any other daredevil cat owners about? (We absolutely cannot keep him indoors as a house cat, he's enormous and desperate to always be out, before it's suggested).

I've probably spoken to most of you before, so codename Danger is at it again.

I'm exactly the same. One of mine and her late sister has so many bizarre health issues. That Im
Very over cautious. However it did for in useful when she got into a punch up and injured her eye.

Mine is a house cat and she's as much trouble as an out door cat!

It's such a nightmare isn't it. Every limp/injury I'm thinking aw fuck this is going to be the end/stressful/devastating/expensive.

Luckily he seems better today after last nights vet run, though he's had a similar injury before and that nearly finished him. He's limping but gobbling biscuits today which is a good sign.
