Has anyone used this system?

Was just looking for a new cat litter box and want to try the wood pellets.
Just seen this system with the pads that absorb the urine and have not seen anything like it before
I'm also not sure how easy it would be to replace the pads and if you can use any wood pellet litter?

It’s in zoo plus. The urine pads are also sold on there - looks like they just slid in and out of the bottom drawer. I can’t see why you can’t use any wood pellet.
Tbh I can’t see it being cheaper, easier or less smelly than using a good cat litter and regular scooping through the day. They idea of a used pad sitting there for a day or longer would make me think it WILL smell. You are still scooping the poop, why not just scoop the pee at the same time? Use a decent clumping litter and it’s quick, easy and low odour.
Email them and ask?

The pellets it uses aren't wood pellets, they are non-absorbent so the wee runs straight through. You'll be tied in forever to the pads and pellets. It looks like style over substance tbh.
