Some Snorg love!

She's become a different cat in the last few months. She's having a second kitten hood and become a lap cat. This morning she was on the bed demanding fuss and supervising me getting dressed. We even had an Eskimo kiss. She has never done this. Maia always would wait for me on the landing, after a shower. And bizarrely Cheddar does too. She's also started scratching the sofa when she's going to jump up on it. She looks me right in the eye while doing it. Can't tell you what a joy it is to see her blossoming.

There, fixed that for you Grin

Toddlerteaplease · 19/11/2020 13:58

😂😂. The scratching has really surprised me. She's the most well behaved feline you could ever meet. She also has leaned to sit bedding the van door and refuse to
Move when I want her to come in.

Absolutely beautiful ❤️

Toddlerteaplease · 20/11/2020 11:12

Bumping as Snorg is sad that she didn't get as much love as Cheddar!

No fair! Black is best in kitties, so gorgeous as Cheddar is Snorg should get at least as much love - plus she's floofier, which means her belly is even lovelier to smoosh Grin

samlh · 20/11/2020 13:41

awww Snorg is just adorable!!!

Fluffycloudland77 · 20/11/2020 13:53

Well 2020 has been an odd year. Snorg acting like a paid up cat is the cherry on the cake really.

Toddlerteaplease · 20/11/2020 14:52

@Fluffycloudland77 GrinGrin

I'm just hope she doesn't add hunting to her new found cat like behaviour.

Well that’s tempting fate isn’t it 😹. I can just see Snorg appearing with a rat in her mouth.

Toddlerteaplease · 20/11/2020 17:44

Nooo. I have a phobia of rodents!

Well, the two of them are gorgeous. You won't need to get the leccie blanket out this year!

What a picture of blissful abandon exposing her curly, fleecy tummy? All played out (is that a catnip toy?)

OnceUponAMidnightBeery · 20/11/2020 22:51

😍 Big Snorg love here 😍

I feel there’s a backstory I need to catch up on?

Toddlerteaplease · 21/11/2020 01:56

@OnceUponAMidnightBeery if you've never come across Snorg. (Or her real name is Magic) she was rescued from a kitten farm along with her late sister. Who was identical and I also adopted. She died two years ago. Snotg has quite a fan club in the Litter tray. And she's only just at the age of 10 learning how to be a cat. I also have another Cat called Cheddar. Who's a red Exotic. Also a rescue. She is very friendly, utterly bonkers and very noisy!

Aww ... there is more than enough kitty-love on Mumsnet for both Snorg and Cheddar!

nettie434 · 21/11/2020 02:25

Would hate to disappoint Snorg! 💖💖💖Snorg and Cheddar are equally adorable. Lots of love and admiration at Snorg's cleverness in learning to be a cat.

Toddlerteaplease · 21/11/2020 14:37

Next door are having the footings of a conservatory laid. What's the betting that if I let her out, Snorg would end up stuck in concrete?

She also has a long distance romance with my cat Harry!

I don't want to worry you about the hunting but don't forget Harry caught a mouse earlier this year...

Toddlerteaplease · 21/11/2020 15:31

GrinGrinbut Harry has a few more brain cells than Snorg!

Omg she's just knocked an ornament over playing with a toy! Fortunately it's not breakable!

OP posts:
Allergictoironing · 28/11/2020 19:13

Snorg? Playing with a toy? Surely you jest!

Toddlerteaplease · 28/11/2020 19:19

She used to very occasionally play with them. But it's a much more regular thing now. She loves crinkly balls and is quite good at foot ball.
