Elderly owner taken ill and is going into a care home, My Son is looking after him at the moment but already has a cat who is getting stressed out. Trying to avoid him going to a shelter, Didn't want to put him on gumtree etc. Can't take him myself as not allowed pets where I live. Thought I would give it a shot on here.

He was born Jan 2019, had all injections to date, is microchipped and neutered. North West area near Bolton.

Can anyone give him a home?

The cinnamon trust help cats whose owners pass away, he’s young he wouldn’t be in a shelter long.

Much better for him to go into a rescue than give away to anyone on the internet. He would easily find a home.

Cat Protection can help with a home-to-home adoption, they will advertise and vet the prospective adopters. He will get adopted very quickly, there is a lot of demand for cats just now.

Definitely contact local rescues. They will be best placed to help. Please don't advertise him online.
If a direct home to home can't be arranged then shelters aren't bad places-they are kept clean and cosy with food provided. It is possibly less stressful than being in a home with another cat. Some charities will have fosterers rather than a rescue centre/shelter. A young adult cat will find a home easily.
