Moved on Friday 30 miles away. Kept cat in. BUT on Monday I couldn't find him.anywhere so he must have got out somehow. ( Or maybe DC are not admitting they didn't close the door......). Anyway I've been out walking and calling him and put posts on local FB groups. He is chipped but I haven't found his chip number paperwork so can't update his address unless I take him to a vets who will scan him.for his chip number. I'm.going to try either buying a printer or going to the library and get some posters printed. Any other ideas? I've asked my new neighbours if they can keep a look out for him.

Have you contacted your purchasers so they can let you know if he turns up there or, if he’s found and scanned, they can let you know if someone sends a letter to your old house?
I hope you find him.

Open every cupboard and look behind and in every box. They can hide in really small spaces for being scared/upset about the new surroundings.

It's 30 miles away so I don't think he would do that. Thanks

Including up chimneys?

I know, but this one travelled 40 miles. Cats have travelled further to go back to their old home after moving to a new area. If he doesn’t turn up in the next couple of days it’s worth contacting them in case he makes it back to your old house.
