Cat HATES the rain - how to alleviate boredom?

My cat Arla is happiest prowling around outside but she can’t bear the rain. She pops out a bit on wet days but spends most of the day inside and then we keep her At night for safety.

Any really successful indoor toys you can recommend? I think I will order one of those outdoor houses for her as she just hates wet paws, I think she would be ok if she could be dry and watch the rain 😅

I have two indoor cats due to one of my neighbours cats being poisoned locally.
I would recommend you playing them (so the long dangly wand, a laser) to wear them out.
If you need something to occupy whilst you busy definitely consider hiding treats and putting toys in places to get interest (so hidden or high up so they effectively have to hunt)
You could also look into cat grass.

We got an outdoor cat house from home and roost and carpeted it as our cat likes to be outside.
Does she like playing with toys? We had a charger able thing from amazon that spun a lazer and feather round that cat used to chose but doesn't bother anymore.

The best cat toy ever is two shoelaces tied together. Then you hide behind a wall and dangle it so they can see it. 😁

Thanks, I’ll get some new toys! I think the toys need refreshing quite often, more than I realised.

Kicker toy, our dcat loves his and gets excited when we get it out, it's a good way of wearing him out as well

We've spent a fortune on toys and Boycat's favourite toy is my elastic hair bands. He especially loves it when I throw them and will jump to catch them.

Haribo must be broken. He sits and sleeps in the greenhouse during the day. There is a bed made out of a box in there and earlier I found my soft DP had dug out his heat pad and put it in his bed for him. So now Haribo is dry, outside but inside and warm.
