Meet Bunny, she's 19 and has seen me through all of life's troubles, a divorce and 2 house moves with no complaining.
I love her more than life Smile
She is always by my side, she just went outside in the rain and is now telling me about it very loudly and at length.

How old is ancient in cats I always wonder? I have an amazing 11 and a half year old cat named Jess. He is amazing and will get your attention by sitting on his back legs and lifting his front paws up at you - almost waving them whilst miaowing loudly!! So sweet Smile

Thank you! It is very sweet when he does that. Your cat looks a fine cat and they are such company and a part of everything in your life - I got my cat when I lost my mum and I truly believe he helped me through it so I understand what you mean. The love you feel for your pet is quite immense really - maybe it's because they can't answer back and they just love us no matter what!

Mine is 13. I love her very much, as do DH and DD

My 11 year old doofus. He is loyal only to me and will regularly tell everyone this very forcefully. He's a moody, grounchy arsehole who beats the dog and my other cat. But he is my buddy who stole my heart and I forgive him for everything, even if he argues with me at length when I say good morning

OP your girl reminds me of our old B&W girl. Sadly we had her PTS aged 15 (we don't know exactly).
I do like the oldies. They generally just want somewhere comfy to sleep, food and fuss. The icatcare website defines 11-14 as senior and 15+ as super senior which I think is a great description.

We well miss our ‘super seniors’ when they are gone. They have always been outdoor cats as well - though they only venture outside for about 5 mins once a week now.

They are all lovely Smile
