My kitten has terrible wind - help!

She seems heathy and happy otherwise - being fed a mixed diet or raw food and Blink - which is what she was fed by the breeder. She is gorgeous but keeps letting rip eye watering stinkers - pls help wise Mumsnetters 😀

It’s the food most likely! She might have a little sensitive tummy and one/both of those foods aren’t agreeing with her.

It could well be the raw food. Another thought has she been wormed?

What are her poos like?

When our cat was a kitten she used to do very smelly but otherwise healthy looking poos. Beef flavours seemed to be the main culprit so we avoided them but it still happened occasionally. Then, when she was about a year old, she caught a virus that gave her a badly upset stomach and she was treated by the vet with some pre- and pro-biotics to reset her gut. Not only did the treatment help her recover from the stomach bug she also hasn't done any really smelly poos since so it seems likely the original problem was probably some kind of imbalance in the gut bacteria. So it might be worth consulting a vet even if she's otherwise healthy.
