She's got a vets appointment tomorrow for things in her ears. Hopefully it's just polyps. But given this is Madam Snorg, and she's never had anything straightforward I'm quite nervous about it. Dr google hasn't helped either!

So, it’s rare & expensive to treat? Well that fits her MO doesn’t it?.

Toddlerteaplease · 12/10/2020 21:38

Ha ha, @Fluffycloudland77 it really does fit doesn't it. It would need a referral elsewhere. No doubt to the hideously expensive hospital that Fatty's jaw was treated at.
I was correct in my diagnosis,

Ceruminous adenoma (ceruminous cystomatosis, apocrine cystadenomatosis) is a rare neoplastic skin disease of the feline ear of unknown etiology[1].

Snorgs internal monologue “feelin cute, might get a rare disorder later idk”.

Goodness. I’m impressed you correctly identified it though (I’m guessing the vet was too!)

Grin Grin Fluffycloudland77. Impressed with your diagnostic skills too Toddlerteaplease. Glad that Snorg doesn't need any treatment for now.

I didn't get it until I googled black lumps in cats ears. @Fluffycloudland77 I think you are spot on! I wonder else what Fatty would have come up with, had she lived longer. I remember a vet laughing and saying that "your two don't get things that normal cats get"
