Character-wise?

Looking for a new rescue (despite DH saying no)

First thing that came up is an ex stud Havana

We lost our beloved Oriental boy last year and got two girls to try and fill the gap. One is very chatty the other less so.
DH has grown up with Havana's, Siamese and Orientals. His favourite is the short haired orientals.

I don’t know if him being an ex stud would make much of a difference to his character, but our old neutered Havana boy was just an absolute sweetheart. So good natured and intelligent.

Our Flynn was an ex stud and such a tart for affection

He'd approach anyone for a cuddle - my big worry about letting him out was that he'd go with someone

Our Cosmo was like that: would go up to anyone. We were eternally surprised and grateful that he wasn't lifted. We also used to have to escape the house without him noticing otherwise he'd insist on coming for a walk with us. Grin

His "sister" tended to stay within the garden.

One of our current boys has a tendency to do that - but he's more easily conned Wink

Our first male, Leo, would also insist on going for walks with us - seems to be a male Siamese thing Grin

This is Cosmo shortly before he was killed when he suddenly decided that a planter at the door (which was awaiting new plants) was a comfortable place to sit and chill. We would even find him there in the dark Confused

I think the attachment and affectionate nature is one of the lovely distinguishing features of all of these breeds - especially males it seems..
Our boy hated us going anywhere without him and had many friends locally (human and other cats!) Our girls are not friendly with people they don't know.

They are really people!
