Cat food

My cat has recently been quiet poorly with an upset tummy. She is better now but it took a few weeks. We started feeding her the applaws pouches alongside her complete dry food to try and encourage her to eat. She absolutely adores these pouches. My question is can she have a pouch a day alongside a complete kibble like purina 1 (considering changing that to the applaws one as well.) She is currently on a hairball one as she is very long haired. I did wonder if this was just a gimmick though? Picture of course included. Thank you.

You can mix feed her but try and get a cereal free dry food. If you groom her every day it reduces how much fur she ingests.

A zoom groom is gentle and gets a lot of fur out. She is a fluffy girl isn’t she?.

Yes. Mine gets serving wet food in morning and then dry food on demand. I read somewhere that feeding all dry food and no wet food is bad for urinary tract. I use the tins though as they’re more environmentally friendly than the plastic pouches.

My long hair cat def sheds less than short hair but I do brush him often to reduce matts. Zoom groom is good as mentioned.
And yes the complete dry food should be fine alongside the non complete wet food.
