It’s his fruit bowl now isn’t it.

We went on holiday and cleared out the fruit bowl before we left so it didn’t go mouldy. Dcat has hardly left it since. It’s his now isn’t it?

Yep! Buy another bowl. How could you say no to such a cute kittie?

Grumpyoldpersonwithcats · 12/09/2020 09:35

It's your fault for buying a cat shaped fruit bowl Grin.

Vinorosso74 · 12/09/2020 09:45

It's the perfect size for him. You'll have to keep your fruit in a cat bed now.

TheCatsWhisker · 12/09/2020 09:47

Yep! What a cutie, he's adorable 😍

newmumwithquestions · 12/09/2020 09:50

Ha! Maybe I should move the unused cat bed there instead.

He’s a 4.5 month old rescue kitten. Think he’s getting more at home now.

Looking again at the pic op I see scope for another dcat bed next to your gorgeous boy!!
Maybe you need another dkitten to fill it?

Toddlerteaplease · 12/09/2020 09:56

You already have another fruit bowl so I don't see the problem with the cat having that one. At least it will keep him off your work surfaces. Besides, as a pp said. It is cat shaped.

oldmapie · 12/09/2020 09:58

What a lovely moggy. Yep you need a new fruit bowl!

SirVixofVixHall · 12/09/2020 09:59

How brilliant. The perfect shape for him, all it needs is a little cushion...
Gorgeous cat, and lovely looking pumpkins, I have table envy !

Joopy · 12/09/2020 10:11

Put the fruit in his cat bed....Wink

TryAnotherNickname · 12/09/2020 10:13

I’m not sure whether I admire the cat or the fruit bowl more

CassandraCross · 12/09/2020 10:16

You couldn't have chosen a more fitting cat shaped fruit bowl if you'd tried and, yes, it is no longer your fruit bowl the cat overlord has made his decision!

ragged · 12/09/2020 10:18

If he's only 4.5m he may outgrow it, temporary problem?

Definitely no more or D(1 year old)cat may move out. When he arrived she spent 2 weeks telling me she was Most Miffed with the intrusion. She plays with him now of course and when she thinks no ones looking she will curl up with him on the bed. Though she stays out the fruit bowl..

Yes - but what we really want to know is why did it take so long for you to empty the bowl so he could go to sleep in it? Bad slave. 🤣

Never have I agreed more with a post.

TheSpottedZebra · 12/09/2020 13:15

Anyway, this is MN. We should be telling you that fruit is bad for you as it's Sooooo full of sugar. So really Cat is saving you.

But kudos for the squash in the round fruit bowl though.

70isaLimitNotaTarget · 12/09/2020 13:17

I had a gorgeous white/blue/yellow fruit bowl, huge .
(I saw the same patterned bowl on an episode of "Whitechapel" to which made me Sad )

The bowl survived years of use in our home , it was older than my DS (who will be 21 soon)

Our cats arrived and FemaleCat took offence at the FruitBowl so threw it onto the floor

RIP fruitbowl .
(Then she smashed a glass one)
I bought a metal one after that !

Fluffycloudland77 · 12/09/2020 13:42

Pop a nice comfy fleece in it for him. He won’t go near it then.

DoctorTwo · 12/09/2020 15:01

All bowls are cat shaped. Cats are liquid.

Grin

He was born to lie in that fruit bowl OP. He's a very handsome chap.
