3rd eyelid on 4 week old kitten, normal?

I'm looking to buy a registered kitten from someone I think is a good breeder (shows their cats, seems v involved with community etc) but photos of kitten show a bit of 3rd eyelid on one eye. Is this usual when they are so small (kitten about 4 wks old) I'm going to see what eyes look like when I visit in person (whilst distancing through the window) but am I worrying about nothing? I googled and it said tiredness can be a cause and not just infection/stress.

I'm not too sure @Blibbler but i've always known the 3rd eyelid showing to be a 'bad thing' maybe call the local vets/cats protection for advice first before doing anything!

My experience is with rescue kittens, not pedigrees, and eye infections are very common but I wouldn't expect this in a kitten coming from a breeder/brought up indoors.

If it's a good breeder, they should have no qualms about answering your questions about it in a non-defensive manner, though.
