Poorly cat

Just to say I am taking her to the vets tomorrow but just wondered if anyone had any ides. Our cat who is a year and a half old started having very loose stools on Wednesday and 24 hours later ot seemed to get better but then it has started again and is still continuing. She always makes the litter tray. She has now started being sick but small amounts of clear liquid is coming out. She is completely off her food and not drinking as much as usual. We haven't changed her food and she is up to date with her flea and worming bits. Up until today she has been her normal energetic self but today has slept a lot more and doesn't seem interested in going outside. She is a long hair cat and I wondered if perhaps this could be a hair ball? I am really starting to worry and willbe taking her to the vets as soon as they open. Any ideas?

She is beautiful- no ideas, I'm sorry but definitely the vets. Beat of luck to you and your kitty

Sounds like a gastroenteritis type thing. Let us know how you get on at the vets. Cats can dehydrate very quickly.

She is just about ok. Have a load of medicines to give her, omeprazol and a prebiotic. The vet has given her an antisickness injection and something to bind her stools. I am now poaching chicken and rice with some carrots for her to eat.
