Disgusting litter trays

Ancient cat is 19 and has sloppy pops. Luckily they dont stink like they used to as the kidney diet seems to neutralise the smell strangely.
Pre kidney diet I actually couldnt have any friends over because the stench of her poos was so dreadful so that's one problem solved.
But.......she has kidney disease stage 2 and wees a lot so clumping litter is a no go you just find a tray full of solid litter in the morning.
She always stands in her poo and walks it and the litter all over the house. The neighbours must think I have an OCD hovering problem.
I'm using Catsan which is great generally but the fine granules get everywhere.
Is there anything out there not so dusty with larger granules that wont get stuck in her paws?
Wood chip is a no go with her kidneys. It just becomes soaked all.ost straight away.

Ah, Old Lady cat is 16 with kidney problems and sloppy poo.

Our problem has been that she is too arthritic to jump in the enclosed hop in litter trays anymore so we have had poo deposits anywhere in the vague direction of the litter tray.

We are hoping nice shiny new flatter trays will have solved the jumping problems although she is not so arthritic she can't jump on my lap for a Snackie

Vet has suggested colitis and prescribed a tub of fibre. 10 days so far and no noticeable difference to sloppiness of poo Sad

Whats the problem with wood fibre? We use Cat's Best which is plant fibre and v happy with it.

Sadlywood fibregetssoaked with urinewithin half a day and then liberally ground I to the carpet. I've got a very flat on enclosed litter tray on a tarpaulin in the spare room to mine imise mess. I think I'll have to try everything in pets at home.
Mmmmm I wonder if fibre would work. Keep me posted on that one.

Cat's Best is fibre but clumps so has been a success for us. It's not like the pellety wood fibre litter.

I use intersand or Tigrino. It's very fine and clumps really well. (Needs to be deep if it sticks to the tray though) it does t smell. Tracking is minimal even with magics floofy feet.

I've got one of those honeycomb mats under the tray and that works really well.
