Kitten love when I was upset

I have chronic pain which is particularly severe tonight, I actually started to cry (this is a rare thing)

This is my boy who came over to stop me being upset. What you can't see is my girl cat lying on my hip making biscuits.

Love my 2 kittens to bits. ❤❤

I am already feeling guilty about having a date booked for neutering in the next few weeks as it feels like betrayal but I know it is for the best. Fur mum guilt

Aww he’s lovely! Cats and dogs are wonderful they bring so much joy and comfort to our lives, I’m glad he’s helped you through a bad evening OP, really hope your pain settles down soon 💐

He is BEAUTIFUL. Hope you're feeling better soon.

And don't feel guilty about the neutering - it's not a betrayal, it's protecting him from a lifetime of fighting, wandering, increasing chance of traffic accidents etc etc.

I hope it settles down soon but these 2 make it better so much love and fun.

The bit that gets me is their excitement at going in the car and looking out the windows from their crates, they prefer watching out and then we pull up at the vets, the crushing disappointment.

They are only 22 weeks but they love the car and I have taken them to a friends house as they are very placid and her children get to stroke them as it helps socially for them, she is back at work several weeks now but has a massive kitchen to let loose in and love playing with the children who are learning how to handle a cat. They are all tummy rubs and treats but have only been to vet's for jabs and the look when I pulled up in the car park was utter betrayal.

They all do that! My dog is literally a trembling wreck when we pull up in the car park, it’s been the same for nearly 12 years now! The vets are always so lovely to her as well! Yet everytime we go I feel terrible as I know she hates it, but we are doing it because we love them even though it makes us feel like monsters!

Yep. They know exactly how to tug at your heart strings.
