Flies and cat food

Anyone use a motion activated feeder or similar? I have taken to covering Spongecat's food with a lid to keep the dratted flies out. Spongcat objects to this, as she is used to food on demand. TIA.

Yes, they’re brilliant! My cat was reluctant at first, but soon got used to it!

Yep I have the same as the previous poster. Got it because they're fussy about only wanting to eat wet food the minute it's put out, and also flies. It works really well and it keeps the food fresher so there's less wastage.

Oh thanks both. I've seen that feeder online, so good to know that it's ok.

The Surefeed one is fantastic, and cats learn very quickly how to use it!

Have bitten the bullet and ordered the feeder. Thanks all.
