We have just got two 11 week old kittens. They’ve been raised on fresh chicken, which I can’t keep giving them. I’ve bought them Iams wet food and Purina dry food (for kittens). One will eat anything but the other will barely eat and I keep giving her the remains of the roast chicken we had but it’s nearly run out.

What do I do?? It’s been about 12 years since I last had a kitten and she just ate whatever I gave her. Kitten pic in exchange for knowledge 😻

Chicken thighs are cheap. I'd roast a tray and freeze taking one out every night.

TBF mine only likes the v expensive wet food: Sheba domes, little tins that cost 80p to £1 each and the gloopy soup in white boxes.

For hard he has Hills Science diet.

But does live the food he likes and eats well. I used to have a very fussy cat and she just was a tiny cat who ate to live.

They are adorable btw. Bet it's the black and white one who likes food.

You can get cat food that's essentially shredded chicken. Applaws do one but it's not a complete food. Thrive is complete iirc and Zoolove (zooplus) also do one but I am not sure if it's a complete one or not.

Biscuits wise my pair get applaws chicken biscuits which they seem to like. One of my cats is very particular when it comes to food and doesnt seem to turn her nose up at them.
Pic of my 2 just because!

I agree - some of the very chicken grub comes in the £1 tins. Not keen on Applaws though.

Try a different wet food, they can’t liv on chicken alone because taurine levels aren’t high enough.

My cat loves applaws. She’s elderly though and somewhat toothless.
